The Born to Lead program will provide participants with the chance to not only learn what it takes to be a good leader but to put those skills into action through the planning of events held at the Lower Paxton Youth Center. These events will be driven by the team and chosen because the team members want them; so your voice will be heard. Events will vary monthly...so the sky is the limit!
You will have the chance to express your creativity in the planning process, regardless of your skills. You'll have the chance to spread your wings through marketing and advertising responsibilities, managing the booking process, developing the budget or handling the on site details the night of the event. The show is yours and provides a way to express yourself and that of the team while making an impact on others in your community.
Throughout the program the team will develop into a cohesive group, recognizing each other's talents and value to the team; ultimately enjoying the success that can be achieved when a dynamic group shares a vision and works together.

So, what do you need to do?

❖ Be willing to make a commitment of 2-3 meetings a month

❖ Be open minded and willing to learn

❖ Have a desire to impact the community

❖ Be willing to be actively involved in the planning and execution of events.
